meet the ichigo farmers
Farmer John Louie comes from a long line of growers. His grandmother, Bachan Tomi, immigrated from Japan in the 1950s and started a cut flower farm from scratch. She built the greenhouses with her own hands — and today, those same greenhouses are home to rows of ripe, red strawberries. We’re proud of our Japanese roots, and even prouder to grow ichigo on American soil.
